Not sure what’s happening with your unit?

Many owners have told us they can’t confirm basic details about their own unit, such as whether it is tenanted, what rent is being collected, or who to contact. Owners are working together through the ONTARIO Condominium & Investor Recovery Initiative to get those answers and to organize a transition to new management. 590+ investors have already registered.

The record

Under review — public reporting
Preliminary and unverified. This page compiles public records, archived marketing materials and investor-provided information. It contains allegations and areas of inquiry that are disputed and have not been proven. No person named has been found liable. Sources & Methodology.

A cluster of six apartment buildings (~700 units) on Kipps Lane, converted from rental to condominium and sold to individual investors; SIREG Management took over management after the 2021 conversion.

Public reporting has documented extended loss of hot water and multi-week elevator outages at these buildings, and a tenants' group has raised concerns about disrepair. Because the buildings were converted from rental stock, unit owners — not tenants — carry common expenses and reserve-fund obligations, while rent increases remain capped under the Residential Tenancies Act. This directly affects the value and saleability of units. Unit-type documents recovered from the public web archive are referenced below.
